About two months ago, I came across a post regarding motherhood titled It’s Not My Turn and it has really stuck with me and helped change my perspective. That right now, it’s not my turn to sleep through the night, but it is my turn to be the reason she feels safe enough to sleep. It’s not my turn to spend an early morning paddle boarding on the lake, but it is my turn to enjoy sleepy happy yawns in the morning and singing the good morning song. It’s not my turn to cool off in a pool on a warm day, but it is my turn to provide poolside bottle service to the sweetest little baby. It’s not my turn to buy silly things I don’t need, but it is my turn to spend money on quality products for my baby such as Momcozy. A little perspective goes a loooong way and this morning- I am thankful.

Wait, I love this and kinda needed to hear this right now! It’s such a great reminder that this truly is just a season and to enjoy these moments we have right now because eventually it won’t be our turn to cuddle with baby and it will be our turn to sleep in but in that moment we sure will miss these times

Wow, I couldn’t have said that better myself! Thank you for this reminder. Every word of it is so true!! I am so thankful for these moments, and every bit of what you said is so worth it! I know I’m going to miss my daughter depending on me so much one day. I even feel sad when she wants daddy to hold her instead of me!
Yes ma’am! It’s just a season and it seems like it’s flying by. Trying not to sweat the little things and soak up all the great things!
I am the same way! I’ll ask for a break and then I see him with her all smiley and sweet and I’m like no give her back I miss her

This is such a great post! I’m so glad that it is not my turn and I get to enjoy my babies and all the joy that they bring I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! 
One day I will miss this but for now I am going to try to soak It in as much as I can!
Exactly right! They’ll be more days in the future that I’ll get to do all the things I want to do, but right now she’s only little once and like you said I want to soak up every minute!
