I have 2 boys and there are times where it is messy. I was just changing a newborn diaper and he let out a poop and pee in the middle of the change. His onsie got all wet, and there was pee all over the changing pad. The poop was on the diaper. Lots of spit up milk after feeding. Then my 2 year old gets food all over his face and hands while eating. There would be times when he would want to come up to us and wants to run his face into our clothes, his hands would be full of food and on our pants.
First we would wipe up all the pee and on his leg. Then we would wash his butt, put on a diaper, and change his onsie. We would use a burp cloth while burping baby so the spit up milk would be on it or use a tissue, napkin, or the cloth to wipe up the spit up milk. For my two year old, we would try to have a wipe near by so we can wipe his hands and face after eating. MessyMomMoments
