One thing I hope this support list doesn’t leave out…
Mom guilt. I never understood it until it happened to me. As a mom to 4 under 4, it’s really hard some days(more often lately) that I can give everyone the attention they need and deserve.
We are always stretched so thin as moms and wives and caretakers and home makers. We have so much on our shoulders. Inevitably we are going to feel this guilt, and that’s ok. To me, the guilt means it bothers you enough to recognize it.
Mom guilt hits hard and fast. Enjoy those fun, loud, crazy, messy moments at home with your family. It’s not always easy or pretty but as long as your kids know they’re loved and cared about, that should be above the guilt.
Caring so deeply is why it hurts, but love always wins over guilt at the end of the day. Sending you so much strength and love with your four tiny humans!
Yes!! Caring is why it hurts so much ! You’re so right!! I’m so glad that point came across! It means we are good moms and wanna do better! It means it bothers us. Ty sister sending love to you and yours too
It does! One of my boys will tell me to put the baby down… hurts me but I explain why I can’t. I got down on the floor last night and we played with magnet tiles and I know he loved that. The baby was asleep so I know he enjoyed that time with his momma
This is so true, but it means that we care and recognize it and are trying our best! Mom guilt is hard but at the end of the day our babies know that we love them and that’s all that matters
Exactly! I’ve been feeling this guilt a lot after bringing my 4th baby home. I know it’s hard for them and us but giving them siblings is a huge blessing in itself so I try to think of it that way
