Any moms with 4 or more kids. How do you manage your day to day?

where you at girl hahaha
I have a routine for our days! Our meals and naps are the same time everyday. Our school work is the same every day. I think a routine is really helpful! We wake up, eat breakfast, work together to feed the animals, get school work going. Once 11:30am hits we break for lunch and go outside for 20-30 minutes. We come in and I start naps for those who need it and I get back to school work with the kiddos in school. Once we finish up we work together to get chores done, then we spend extra time reading books, playing together, color, dancing, doing a work out, have a snack, and do these things until it is time to feed the animals. I also change diapers and feed my youngest bottles in there too but I do that on demand. After that my husband is home and he starts helping do things with our children or helps with dinner and then we enjoy the evening as a family together unless we have plans! We all work together after dinner before bed to do chores, enjoy an evening walk, we give our children snacks, we brush teeth, read, pray, etc and then we tag team and get the youngest children to sleep then try to spend at least an hour together catching up and having non interrupted time together before we head to bed ourselves! We also may instead that night need a nice hot bath or something we enjoy separately before going to bed. I have had to learn that it is okay to not get every single task completed that I want done. It is far more important to me to be spending that time with my children and actually enjoying our time together instead of focusing on a check list stressing myself out. We do 2 days a week at separate ends of the week to deep clean and that is it! Our routine is not perfect and we are flexible because some days things do not go as planned and that is okay! I just try to keep our meals, naps, and bed time the exact same. I hope this helps some!!
Only 3 here. Afraid to admit it, but I’ve turned into a zombie hahahahajk
I’m hereeee!!
I have 5 and honestly some days I’m just barely surviving. But sticking to a routine has helped tremendously so my kids know what to expect. If things start to get to loud and hectic in the house I take them in the back yard and let them run out some energy. If my kids start going back and forth they get separated. We do an hour and half of quiet time every day in the middle of the day so it gives me like a mini mid day reset, whether it’s putting on a movie, passing out coloring books, or doing other little activities that will help keep them quiet.
To save my sanity with the cleaning I removed all toys from their rooms and they have a dedicated play room that was once my dining room.
You got this mama!!
I have 2 that are 14 years apart so this definitely isn’t my department! But, how wonderful to have a big family. Im sure it can be hectic but you got this mama and im sending you all the good vibes and happiness
