Everyone says motherhood changes everything, and I know they’re right. In just a few days, my whole world is going to look completely different, and honestly, I can’t wait to meet my little boy.
At the same time, I hope I don’t lose the parts of myself that have always made me who I am. I still want to coach, stay creative, keep making people laugh, and find little moments to do things that make me happy. I know some days those moments might only last a few minutes, and that’s okay.
I’ve realized that taking care of myself doesn’t take away from being a good mom—it helps me show up as the best version of myself for Kylo. Motherhood is becoming a huge part of who I am, but it doesn’t have to erase the person I was before.
Here’s to this new chapter, finding the balance, and remembering that I’m still me.
Welcome momma! I am a first time mom and my baby is now almost four months and in the past four months I’ve been stretched, molded, and shaped into what feels like a completely new person and experienced a type of strong, fierce love I didn’t even know existed. Motherhood is truly amazing. Congratulations on entering a new chapter and once again welcome to this community FULL of incredible moms just like you!
Welcome to the group and congratulations on your new baby. My best advice will be to ask for help whenever you need it because it can be exhausting with a newborn but with the right support it makes it so much easier and also don’t forget to take care of yourself as well.
Welcome and congratulations!! The community has been so great to see others have gone through the same thing or are currently going through the same! So excited for you, the whole journey is just so precious! My baby boy just turned 5 months yesterday
