Still Me: Even in these first tender days of new motherhood, I still make time to talk with my family. My baby is only 11 days old, and we’re moving between the NICU and maternity because of jaundice, so life feels very heavy right now. But hearing familiar voices and staying connected to the people I love helps me feel grounded and reminds me that I’m still me.
You are amazing. Prayers for you and your baby. And your baby have soooo much hair!!! Adorable ![]()

Congratulations momy, having someone to talk to for a moment makes us forget all we are going through. Soon you will be home and everything will work out

Hi mama. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy & welcome to motherhood
Thank you for sharing your story with us.
It really reminds me of our journey. Both of my last babies were preemies and had jaundice, so I know how hard those bilirubin checks and the waiting can be. My second baby also spent over a month in the NICU and had phototherapy.
You’re not alone. If you ever want to connect, I’m here. ![]()
Congratulations on your beautiful baby. Hope she’s able to get much better and come home soon. My baby had jaundice but it was minor and went away within 2 months, I never truly understood what it was until way later. All I know is having babies be sick and being away from them is something hard on both momma and baby. I love that you still talk to your family especially on times like these. Not much people talk nowadays so it’s nice to hear when someone does
.
Hugs to you too! ![]()
