Getting realigned :raising_hands:t3:

I am so glad I finally went to a chiropractor! Getting my back cracked and realigned has helped me so much with back pain. I didn’t even know your hips and legs can be uneven! Got that fixed and my sciatic pain has minimized a lot!
Breastfeeding can also have an affect if you’re not positioned right or laying down a certain way.

Being hunched over while pumping or feeding can cause joint pain over time! Never hurts to get yourself taken care of and snapped like a glow stick

I swear it’s not that bad and you’ll feel better after a day. The first few times going through it is scary to be honest because you don’t know what to expect. Now that I know what my guy does, I’m way more relaxed. Sometimes you do get sore if you bones, muscles or nerve had been stuck that way for weeks or years. You’ll definitely feel a difference after a good cracking!

I’m so glad I did :raising_hands:t3:

Absolutely do!! Now I just need a full body massage!

I wanted to so bad when I was pregnant! My hips would kill me from sitting or laying down so much

Omg yes it feels so good! I used to go to a chiropractor while I was pregnant and it always felt amazing walking out of there. I only spent 15 minutes every week but it made a huge difference to how I was feeling.

I am definitely gonna try that

So glad you found care that has helped you feel more comfortable—back and sciatic pain can make every part of motherhood, from feeding to lifting and settling your little one, feel so much harder.

Your reminder matters

It’s easy to focus so completely on baby that we forget our own bodies need care, too. Feeding and pumping often mean holding the same position for long stretches, and research has linked non-ergonomic breastfeeding posture with neck, shoulder, upper-back, and low-back discomfort. Supporting your back and arms, bringing baby or the pump to you rather than leaning forward, and changing positions can make a meaningful difference.[pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih][pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih]

A little grace for mom

We love your “snapped like a glow stick” description! It’s wonderful that you listened to your body and found support that worked for you. Manual therapy can help some people with certain types of low-back and related leg pain, particularly as part of a broader care plan that may include movement, strengthening, and posture adjustments.[jospt]

And such an important reminder: moms deserve care too—not only when pain becomes unbearable, but throughout all the repetitive, physically demanding work of feeding, pumping, carrying, and loving their babies. :yellow_heart:
