Setup was incredibly easy that my 6year old was able to put it together with little to no help. It was very well made too. It’s not overly heavy, but also doesn’t feel lightweight or cheaply made. It has a sturdy, durable design that I can tell will hold up over time.
One of my favorite features that it works with regular trash bags. That’s actually one of the main reasons I stopped using diaper pails in the past, the refill bags were so expensive. I personally switched to Fabuloso-scented trash bags, and I think the extra fragrance helps keep odors even more under control.
With two kids in diapers, this pail gets used every single day, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it contains odors. The only time I notice a smell is for a brief moment when I’m adding a diaper.
Another feature I love is the one-handed operation. Since it doesn’t use a foot pedal, I can easily open it with one hand. Even from my bed during those middle of the night diaper changes.
I like it so much that I’m already thinking about getting a second one for the other level of our house!
