during those late night feeds, I nurse and rock my daughter in my recliner in the dark with my eyes closed. Luckily I never fall asleep while nursing her. I’ve tried to cosleep, but she fights me. I feel like other mamas are trying to get their babies to sleep in the crib, but I just want mine to be in my bed so I don’t have to keep getting up

Mine is close to my bed in her bassinet so I don’t have to get up right now but we are about to transition her into the crib so I will have to get up to get her too

It absolutely does it helps so much to stay organized

I used to put her in a collapsing bassinet that laid in the middle of my bed. I was so disappointed when she outgrew it. It was great to have her so close! Her crib is a couple feet away from my side of the bed, so I can see her at all times though. I have my recliner in our room too, so it’s nice not having to leave the room when she wakes up

Her crib is going to go in our room and I have my rocking chair in there too so I won’t have to go too far.
