Motherhood expands my life by teaching me it was never me. My parents failed me in so many ways, they always blamed us kids for their failures. Yet, we have had hard times with our kids, bad days, hectic chaotic days, days where I’ve cried, days where I’ve had to walk away. And yet, I’ve never reacted in ways they did. And I’ve NEVER once believed it was my kids fault.

Becoming a mother can actually heal so many parts of us we didn’t even know needed healing
It can make us look deep within and hold that little baby version of us tight and say it’s okay
