Motherhood has expanded my life by so many ways. It may seem hard at times, but it is absolutely worth it. It has helped me work on myself mentally because it opens my eyes to the trauma I’ve carried from childhood and allows me to break the cycle with my kids. Seeing the way they open up to me and their dad and how they are just completely themselves without fear of judgment is amazing to me. To have such loving, well mannered kids is such a blessing. They remind me to take a step back and enjoy all of the little moments because they go by so quickly. I want them to always come to me even when they are out of the house. To want to see me and spend time with me for the rest of their lives. To always know they are loved and that we are so thankful for them. I’ll take the hard days any day if it means more time with my babies

This is so beautifully said. Your kids are so lucky to have a mom who is intentional about breaking cycles and creating a safe, loving home for them. They are clearly so loved, and I’m sure they’ll carry that with them for the rest of their lives. 
Motherhood really does have a way of bringing so much to the surface and giving us the opportunity to heal, grow, and break cycles for our children. You are doing great!
