I’m a mom of 3 and last October the month my third child was born I decided to breastfeed for the first time due to issues with formula changes, etc with my second born. I can say in the beginning it was definitely challenging being that I’d a hard time getting my son to latch on since my nipples was flat so I ended up having to use a nipple shield and it made it very easier within the few months. I was very stressed because I wasn’t producing a lot of milk at first , I certainly wanted to give up and just give my son formula but I stayed strong and continued to breastfeed him and was also doing like the combination of formula and breastmilk , also during the first few months I was using the medela pump then went to the wearable lansinoth pumps those stopped working so then I started using momcozy s12 pro pumps and I’ll say those are the best pumps I’ve ever used. My milk supply started increasing once I started using momcozy. I’ve been going 9 months strong with breastfeeding. I am currently exclusively pumping now since my son is use to bottles and no longer my breasts. My milk supply is still increasing. I’ve started to drink bodyArmour which increased milk production a lot fyi for any moms that’s having a hard time with getting enough milk. I’ve been told from the beginning no matter how much milk you produce your baby still gets the nutrients needed. I’ve learned to always stay hydrated drink plenty of fluids and eat healthy. I do plan on continuing to breastfeed until my son turns 1 maybe will stop when he’s 11 months because he eats table food but my goal is to be done when he turns 1.
Congratulations and thank you for sharing your story. I learned a lot ! And im glad the S12 helped you cause i had the same issue with medela too .
