Hahaha maybe your next one!! This crib went completely unused with my daughter… we still don’t have the nursery set up for my son, but my son actually does sleep in the crab. We laughed because it literally went a whole kid without ever being used.

Absolutely! They just look so adorable when they’re sleeping! It’s such an awww moment! You spend forever getting them to go to sleep, and then you don’t want to leave their side. Except at night lol. I cant wait to lay back down after waking up every hour with her this week. I used to think waking up every 2 hours was hard…I want to go back to this please! :joy:

My daughter used to be a serial contact napper! When we went on vacation when my daughter was 6 months old, we brought the packnplay with us for her to sleep in. I decided this was the time to try to get her to sleep in it for her naps. It didn’t work every time, but I did manage to get her to take a few naps in it. Maybe if you try once a day to get your son to nap in the crib, he will eventually sleep there. It took a full week once we were back home, but I think it was just a matter of getting used to it! It may have had something to do with being in a different environment too.

At least you didn’t have to buy another crib when your son was born! Lol. We don’t have a nursery set up either. I think a nursery sounds cool in theory, but I feel like it’s not practical for such a tiny human to have an entire bedroom with their own closet, dressers, etc. I can fit a crib and changing table into my bedroom, and it holds everything she needs just fine. I have thought about setting up a playroom though. My living room looks like a daycare center!

That is hilarious and relieving I have been so sad because we have the nicest crib my mom bought for us and it’s purely decorative at this point

Oh my gosh, my living room is such a wreck too tripping over everything but they have everything they need there. Right now our “nursery is basically just where my son naps that’s about the only value l. well and they have a dresser in there. Haha

I felt the exact same way with my daughter like I spent so much time and effort picking out the most perfect and pretty crib to not be used. So good vibes for whenever you have a second.

Thanks! I know you know how it is! It’s so difficult when the lack of sleep hits you so hard. Today is one of those days for me

Yup! Same here! It’s a wreck, and we’re always stepping on toys. My daughter just bulldozes right through them! :joy:
