Nighttime feeds are where my husband and I definitely share the load. He keeps the bottles and bottle warmer on his side of the bed, and I’ve got diapers and my pump/pump parts on my side. I’ll wake up and change her, then wake him up to feed, burp and keep her upright while I pump. This way a nighttime wake up/feed takes 30-40 minutes rather than just by myself taking well over and hour and a half. I’m about to head out of town for a few days with the baby to visit my sister and my husband has to stay home and work. This is the first time leaving him, and I’m nervous I won’t have anyone to help share the load.

I am incredibly happy you have his support in this! It really makes a difference having a partner split tasks and like you said share the load.
It was so hard when my partner had to leave for a week for work but we did it!! We got into a routine. I hope it goes well ! You got this !
That is so awesome that he is able to help you! You’ve got this momma you will do great on your trip!
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Just take it one wake-up at a time, and remember your sister is there to back you up during the day! Safe travels mama! xoxo
Love a supportive partner! Wish you luck on your solo endeavor.
You got this! Just stay calm![]()
I can totally understand this! When my daughter was 1 month old, my husband had to go out of town for work for 2 months. I had to take care of my baby and my elderly mother-in-law on my own, and it was a lot of work. After awhile I got used to it. Whenever my husband helps out now, it feels so strange not to have my daughter attached to my hip, but I appreciate the help. It was definitely intimidating when he first left though. I bet your family will be happy to help with your daughter! You got this!
So cute!!
