No more “Just Wait”😵‍💫

I wish more moms had positive words and affirmations than all the “warnings” and “just waits”:face_vomiting:. Throughout my entire pregnancy and still almost 7 months in of being a mom, I still consistently hear and truthfully get sick and tired of hearing “just wait” in the most negative connotation. I wish more moms or people in general talked about to beauty of pregnancy and motherhood, and, yes, while things do get hard, it’s also so incredibly rewarding. Each phase of pregnancy and motherhood is so new, exciting, and full of growth and deserves positive support rather than “just wait”.

All that to say, yall are some pretty incredible ladies doing some pretty incredible things! I read through these stories and am constantly amazed at the strength and resilience within this community!:pink_heart:

Yes!! I feel like people are always so quick to tell you what gets harder instead of talking about all the good things too. Motherhood isn’t always easy, but watching our babies grow and seeing their little personalities come out is so special. We need more positivity between moms! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Oh my goodness. I say this all the time. Can’t we just appreciate that now is really. Just wait until never helps me.

First, Beautiful pic. Secondly you are so right. I don’t hear it too much these days but I have in the past. Yes, bring a parent is crazy but also wonderful. They seem to forget the wonderful part!

I completely agree with you 19 months postpartum and with my 4 year old little one people around me are still so negative even moms that I know from my circle specifically on the topic of parenting everyone is surprised that I raise them alone with my partner and I say okay I feel proud but there are still people telling me that my physical appearance looks bad because I need help but literally those are negative words and honestly I prefer to stay away keep my distance and be positive with myself regarding my physical appearance it’s okay maybe right now I don’t have enough time to take care of myself but I am enjoying every single moment with my little ones and I really don’t feel bad about my physical appearance I know my kids love me just as I am and I know I am doing great so always positive vibes here and honestly I would also love for society and especially other moms to say words of support and encouragement to each other because yes from my circle they are always negative words so I don’t want to say that I don’t need a support network I mean I do need one but I prefer to be like this you know what I mean

I completely hear you! Sometimes it’s better to say nothing at all than fill the silence with negativity. You sound like an amazing mom doing the absolute best you can for your family so tune out all that negativity and keep your head high! You’ve got this!
