I would love for my baby to nurse on the go (in a car) or take a bottle. It has been very challenging. He won’t nurse or take a bottle in the car. I think it’s because of lots of distractions. If we are home, we have no issues. So whenever we get out of the house, we have to rush back when it’s feeding time.

Have you tried a nursing cover to help with the distractions?
Yes, I have tried the cover. He will push the cover, doesn’t like it.

I’m sorry I know that is extremely difficult to go anywhere if he won’t Nurse or take a bottle in public maybe this will be able to help you Find a solution they had some good information that I haven’t thought to try

I feel you how old is your baby? Have you tried nursing in a carrier. My oldest would get distracted and it was a great way to get him fed especially while out. My youngest refused to nurse in the carrier after 6 months tho. Now he only nurses at home. He will take a bottle but he is a sipper. Take him a whole hour to finish one.

My daughter gets distracted in the car too! She’s just so interested in everything else! One thing that helps me is to give her cold breastmilk in her weighted straw sippy cup when she’s hungry. Maybe that might work for you?
