After watching fireworks nearby, we came home and did our own little fireworks for the kids. My husband was dog tired, but he still made sure to take us out to celebrate. Since I’m still new to the US, I honestly wouldn’t have minded staying home so he could rest. My mama instincts were telling me to let him relax, but he insisted, so we went. I thought this could be a fun memory not just for me, but for the whole family. stillme Just concerned about my husband’s health. Hope you all had a fun and safe 4th of July! 
Also, this was my first time trying long exposure shots to capture my husband drawing “4th” with sparklers for Happy 4th and star for The Star-Spangled Banner haha.
