As a mom of 2 boys, 4 year old and 9 month old. I would say nothing prepares you for motherhood. Each stage brings a new challenge and the joy of watching them grow. The newborn stage where you are learning all bout your bundle of joy and how to get enough sleep to function. The baby stage where they are growing so fast that you blink and it’s over. The toddler stage where all your trying to do is keep them alive as they want to do all the time is climb and explore with their gross motor. The preschool stage where they have more of an understanding of the world but still really like to do dangerous things. I would say being prepared for whatever may come up is my best advice. Each child is different in there own way.
