I’m currently expecting my third baby, and while I have loved every minute of this pregnancy, I won’t lie…I’m terrified of starting all over again.
My older two are 12 and 9, so it’s been a long time since I’ve had a newborn. On top of that, I’m older now, and this pregnancy has definitely taken more of a toll on my body than I remember. Some days I wonder if I’ll remember how to do everything once this little one gets here.
Where do I even begin? What are the must-haves now? What has changed over the years? Any advice for making the transition back into the newborn stage after such a big age gap?
I know it’ll all be worth it the moment I hold my baby, but I’d love to hear from other moms who’ve been in the same situation. Your advice, tips, or even just reassurance would mean so much to me.
As soon as you hold your baby all those worries will fade away and your instincts will kick in you’ve got this momma. It will be a transition at first but take it a day at a time and soon yall will get into a routine and you will wonder why you even worried in the first place. As far as things for the baby I would recommend a bouncer seat, newborn carrier, gas drops, a swing, and Bassinet
Once you hold your baby all your worries will melt away. You will remember how to do things. You will also have amazing help from older siblings. Honestly Momcozy makes products that make out life easier. Finding products that fit your life style is very helpful.
Congratulations on welcoming your baby into the world soon!
You are doing an amazing job already. Must haves - bassinet, baby swing ( I have 2 - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs ) , cradle cap brush, baby monitor, nightlight, sound machines, baby towels and rags, baby bath, baby soap and lotion, diaper rash cream, play mat , if your doing bottles or any of that- bottle washer!
