STOP Unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders, and take a deep breath.
Personally, I need that reminder at least 10 times a day. I get so caught up in trying to get everything done and catch myself operating in emergency mode. From running around the house cleaning, trying to cook dinner and eat fast before my baby starts crying and 9/10 my baby is fine! I run around trying to get so much done and before I know it the days over, and even though my baby’s been with me all day, I feel like I haven’t spent time with her. So my tip is to RELAX. It’ll all get done eventually, so take a deep breath, grab your baby and go watch the sunset, and live in the moment rather than going through the motions of clean, feed, change, repeat. While motherhood can be hard, it can also be so beautiful and deserves to be enjoyed!
I read that first line and realized how tense my shoulders always are, I immediately dropped them! Thank you! Also very beautiful picture with the nature and sunset in the back!
Great message. And such a gentle reminder to breathe. My husband is always like you’re moving like you’re sooooo busy. Relax. it’s so hard to just sit because when I finally sit it’s either because I’m folding laundry or nursing our girl to sleep. We do well with schedules such as his time, my time, our time and family time. But when we are home and it’s home time it’s no time for me
This is an amazing picture and also the advice! The way that my jaw hurts from clenching it all the time I literally said last night my jaw is so painful and I have to consciously relax it, but I don’t always remember
This is somthing I need to work on! With 3 littles it’s hard to get everything done I feel like I am In survival mode some days and I need to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Aww I love this picture of you guys! Such a stunning view too!
It’s so true how easy it is to get caught up in everything that needs done. I had to learn too that certain things can wait. I used to try to get as much done as possible, and I was so exhausted! It’s so important that we take the time to spend quality time with our little ones.
