So I was actually just talking about this with another mama, one thing that really inspired me to do the traveling Air1 is the fact that a big part of me was working in the wilderness, I use to be deep in the backcountry for months at a time, for reference I use to build trails I’ve done so many for over ten years. Becoming a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to me but with that comes a part of me that sometimes I felt like I was losing, so I decided to pack up my Air1 and my baby on my back and get out in the woods and explore! I wanted blend my two worlds together essentially and slowly but surely I feel like I’m a getting that part of me back, but not just back but expanded with my new human I created to show all the pretty things that are naturally around us. It’s been such a gift to watch his eyes get wide at flowers and bugs, birds and tress even a breeze will make him giggle it’s hilarious actually. With all that said you can be a breastfeeding mother and you don’t have to let a pumping schedule hold you back from doing things that make you remember you are still you just expanded
I appreciate that so much !!! Me too I didn’t know how I was going to do it for long ! You saw I was so shy to nurse or pump in public but luckily not too many people out on the trails so it’s helped a lot to get me desensitize and back out there
I’m so happy for you that you are able to get out in nature like you live so much! That’s so cute that your son is giggling at the wind lol. It’s so nice that he is loving the outdoors as much as you do! The portable Momcozy breast pumps have brought you guys so much freedom!
Thank you for being such a great support through this journey from the bottom of my heart you and many other moms have hyped me up from day to get back out there and just do it!! Pump out in public and live!! I can’t express enough gratitude to for that Angela!! Thank you
You are so welcome! Motherhood is such a beautiful thing, and we should never feel ashamed for any part of it. You’ve actually encouraged me to be less afraid to nurse my daughter in public. I’m like if Jessica can fearlessly pump in public, I can breastfeed!
Aw that was simply so beautiful to read. You and your little going on the adventures you once sought before him. To teach what you love to him and he teaches you a different kind of love back
It really is amazing how we can connect like this online and encourage eachother! Never in a million years did I think I’d be an active part of an online mom group and making friends and making a difference!
