This summer, I’m hoping for more summer fun. Last year my youngest couldn’t go in the sun. This year he can have sunscreen. We just finished setting up the pool. So we will be doing lots of outside fun. My oldest and niece are already bugging me to go in. The water is freezing tho. It won’t stop them tho.

It’s just too much fun momma! Kids will literally be shivering and won’t get out of the pool and if you ask if they are cold they will deny it.

Yea when they are having too much fun they don’t mind being freezing cold. If they weren’t having fun they would be complaining non stop

We have a very similar pool my partner got off Amazon!! I think need to build a deck for it unfortunately we have zero level ground found out the hard way

Oh no. You can always try to make a sand pad. My neighbor’s did that. It’s a little easier then building a deck

Thank you. It’s probably the last year of it. Next year we will have to get a new one. Or no pool with a climbing toddler. Depends on how adventurous our baby is.

Yea you just need to dig a bit to level then pour in sand and level it. Put the pool tarp down then the pool. You won’t have to worry about big rocks as the sand will keep it pretty level. It’s a bit easier then building a deck unless your ground is hard to dig up. you only need the top layer off to level

Oh shoot !! If we were gunna dig it has to be after like a week long rain our ground is pretty tough!

Yea I don’t get it. Last year we had to force or oldest to get out because his lips were turning blue and he was shivering. Thankfully the pool warms up after a few days in the sun

That’s such a nice pool! We have a blowup on that’s still decent, but I want one like yours. We still need to go swimming in ours. I filled it up, and then family came to visit for a few days so we didn’t use it. I forgot to cover it and it’s full of bugs! Now I’ve got to dump it and refill it. It’s so annoying! We can’t wait to finally go swimming though. My daughter loves the water

Oh no that sucks. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to clean it up. She’s going to love it. She’s probably going to get mad when you take her out tho.

It’s so hard, because I want her to be able to play outside longer. I just don’t want her to get sunburned or overheated. It will be better when she’s in the pool because we have it set up on a covered patio with a ceiling fan. At least she can keep cool when it’s 90+ degrees outside and be out of the direct sunlight
