Today’s my second birthday as a mom! And even though I worked because I’m just wired that was, I had a great day!
My circle is small and basically consists of my husband. We don’t have family to rely on and ask for a night off. For the last 19 months it’s been parenting 24/7 365 & hubby’s support has made parenting easier. We tag team our little munchkin to make sure he has everything he needs.
Keeping an eye out for my son’s cues, on whether he’s sleepy, hungry, or needs a new diaper has helped us so much! We also stick to our daily routines of meals, nap, play, and bedtime and it has helped tremendously.
Happy birthday mama! Great job on working together to take care of your son without having a huge village to help your guys out. I hope you enjoyed your 2nd birthday as a mom.
Happy birthday!! My husband and I are the same as you and your husband. No family nearby. No one to rely on. We take the baby on our dates (Saturday coffee at the local coffee shop). We got this!
