The Woman I Was, The Mum I Became 💖

Let me introduce myself

Before motherhood, I was a flight attendant, living a busy, exciting life filled with travel and new experiences. Then I became a stay-at-home mum, and everything changed almost overnight.

The transition was huge, and the early days were tough. With a colicky baby and no village nearby, I was exhausted, overwhelmed and figuring it all out as I went.

Almost three years in, I wouldn’t change it for anything. Motherhood has challenged me in ways I never expected, but it’s also brought immense love, joy and purpose. I’ve loved watching my little one grow, being there for the everyday moments and building a life together as a family.

I’m a mum and wife, but I’m still me too. I love travelling, exploring, making memories with my family and finding little moments for myself. Motherhood has changed me, but it hasn’t erased the parts of me who love adventure—just with a little one tagging along now. :joy::heart:

I discovered Momcozy during my motherhood journey, and what I love most is the community. It’s comforting to be surrounded by mums who understand the beautiful, messy, exhausting and funny reality of it all.

For me, momandmore is a reminder that I can be a mum while still making space for my interests, dreams, adventures and the little things that make me happy. :white_heart:

I’m still figuring it all out, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. :sparkling_heart:

I love this:white_heart: Your role may have changed from flight attendant to stay at home mom, but both played (and still play) important roles in shaping who you are! I’m so glad you discovered this community! Welcome:white_heart:

Wow a flight attendant this is so cool so happy to see your beautiful transition into motherhood I love to say we haven’t lost our identity from what we were but have expanded

Wow, what a beautiful picture is that Thailand or where is that? Also, I wish I could’ve been a flight attendant, but I am too short 4’11 and I can’t even close the top luggage compartment :joy:

What was the hardest part for you going from that busy lifestyle to a stay at home mom?

That is a big transition! I got to travel a bit around the world for work before covid and it was amazing but I couldn’t imagine traveling now. I’m dreading leaving my son for a work trip just to Vermont next month and that’s nothing close to the 2 week trips I use to have for work.

A little nostalgia from my last international trip:

Motherhood is amazing, thank you so much for sharing your story!

It’s so amazing when we can show or children the things we love and they can be apart of it as well!

Keeping that adventurous spirit alive while building memories with your family is such a goal. Welcome to the community! I love this photo! :growing_heart:

Awww hope you and your little one have many lovely adventures together!

I love this! What a big change you had to go through during this journey!
