Tips for new mamas

One support tip I would add for moms building their feeding routine is

Don’t get discouraged. Remember any amount of milk is a blessing for your baby. Something I wish people would have told me on my pumping journey (since baby wouldn’t latch good) is at first you will get colostrum .. the first couple days are souly colostrum and building your supply. Do not give up. Even if nothing comes out continue pumping every 2/3 hours it will build your supply even if it seems like nothing is happening. Theres kind of a blank Period while your milk transitions from milk to colostrum where it seems like nothing is happening, but actually something huge is happening and before you know it milk will be FLOWING. So do not get discouraged and do not give up!!! Breastfeedng/ pumping is one of the hardest jobs I have ever done but I would do it a million times over because the benefits for your baby is unimaginable, if you made it this far thanks for reading and good luck :two_hearts::two_hearts::two_hearts::heart_hands:t2: whathelpedme tipsworthadding CozySummerSupport cozysupportlist

Not getting discouraged is such an important tip that everyone needs to listen to! It’s so easy to feel like you’re failing in the beginning.

Yes! It takes time to build and establish a supply!
