Outside of being a mama, my favorite things are dancing and painting / crafts. Nothing clears my head quite like it. Sometimes it’s so hard to just sit down, feel at peace, and breathe — but stepping outside to paint, or dancing around with my little sister to “Just Dance,” it brings me back to myself. I also love makeup like any cosplay makeup Halloween is my favorite!

It reminds me that I’m not just a mom, I’m still a girl in her 20s learning to love herself too.

I hope you mamas never forget who you are. It’s so easy to get lost in motherhood, but holding onto those little things that make you happy helps so much with postpartum. :heart_hands:t2::white_heart:

Lovely mom!!:heart::heart: thanks for sharing. It’s hard to describe me without being a mom. That’s all I feel like I identify with. I know I’m a sister and a daughter but my life revolves around the kids. So mom is always the first thing I think of. I even had to sit back and think about what I was going to say in my post. I thought what do I like. Everything is the kids so I kinda forgot what makes me ME

I feel you on this so heavy — especially with my first baby, I got so caught up in motherhood and just felt stuck in the stress and postpartum. It took me a whole year after my firstborn to start feeling like myself again and rediscover the things that make me feel like me.

You are such an amazing mama, but love yourself too — you deserve it. :white_heart:

Dancing and painting outside are such incredible head-clearing therapy. That makeup look is amazing, too! :growing_heart:

Where are you located because I need to hire you to do my make up because I love dressing up, but I’m very terrible at doing any sort of makeup :sob::joy::weary_face:

Kentucky I wish people locally would let em paint there faces like canvas I have so so MANY IDEAS I’ve done envt makeup quite a few times for people however I love playing with face paint and sfx makeup! Thank you so much though :white_heart:

Halloween is literally our favorite holiday Christmas is next I just love how everyone expresses themselves in there costumes during Halloween the creativity especially when you have little ones it’s so cute thank you girl you seem so fun too you make me wanan go hiking I love coming across your post you’re so touched with nature :face_holding_back_tears::white_heart:
