The teeth… terrible stage!

Omg yes, those teeth! Here’s what I did that seems to work really well:
1.) Calmly say “no biting” and remove them from your breast
2.) Then place them in their crib and leave the room for 30 seconds. They will cry. Let them
3.) Pick them up and either try nursing again or let them play for 20 minutes and then try again.
This usually works for me. I started doing this at 6 months old. She tries it again every few months and I repeat the process. I have learned to notice when she is about to bite though. She gets this playful look in her eyes and she won’t sit stay on the boob long

The biting can be so bad!!! I thought the Pain was bad the first couple of weeks. I found pumping helpful for a few feeds to give the nipples a little rest. But the bitting does hurt!

Oh gosh, I’m dreading my nuggets first tooth… I still get sore nipples from time to time and can’t imagine him buying me 
Oh no, the biting stage is the absolute worst! Just when you think you finally have it all figured out, those little teeth arrive. Hang in there, mama! And Welcome to the community!!! 
Oh no teeth are challenging. My best advice would be to yell ouch when they bite the first couple of times. It may scare them but they do learn pretty fast. I also remove my son and he has a moment away from my breast.
