A reminder for a mom that needs to hear this today

There was a time when I believed every pumping session, every ounce, and every setback defined how well I was doing as a mom. I spent so much time worrying that I forgot to see what mattered most.

Then one day, I looked down at my baby peacefully nursing, completely content, and it hit me…My baby wasn’t keeping track of how much milk I made. She didn’t know how many times I cried over my pump or questioned my body. She only knew that she was safe, loved, and in my arms.

That was the mindset shift I needed.

If you’re struggling with breastfeeding, pumping, or feeling like you’re not enough, I want you to know this

Your baby doesn’t need a perfect mom. They need you.

So be gentle with yourself, the love you give, the comfort you provide, and the way you keep showing up every single day are things no bottle can measure.

You’re doing better than you think:white_heart:

Your quote She only knew that she was safe, loved, and in my arms.

That is so sweet! I was also struggling thinking if I will have enough milk for her. That I realized my daughter can also have formula if needed. Everything worked out in the end.

This almost made me cry! :sob: Beautifully said, mom! We moms need that reminder sometimes that all the stress about perfection is not what our babies need, and that we are enough how we are already

Oh I love this soooo much! That Huckleberry app honestly drove me insane tracking everything down to ounces, colors, and consistency. Once I stopped knit picking, everything became soooooo much easier :raising_hands:t3:

Aww thank you! :face_holding_back_tears::growing_heart: It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to do everything “right,” when sometimes our babies just need us exactly as we are

Aww, I’m so glad it reached you when you needed it:face_holding_back_tears::two_hearts: Sending you a big hug, mama! :heart_hands:

Yes! :face_holding_back_tears::two_hearts: Sometimes we just need that little reminder to give ourselves some grace

Exactly! :face_holding_back_tears::two_hearts: most of us I think we spent so much time worrying about whether we are making enough, when what matters the most is taht our babies arw getting fed, safe, and loved. I’m so glad everything worked out for you too! :heart_hands:
