Asking for help when you need it

One thing I hope this Support List doesn’t leave out is…

Making sure moms know that asking for help isn’t them failing or that they are a bad mom. It takes a village to raise a child. It’s okay to lean on another person you don’t have to do it alone. Asking for help makes you the best mom you can be! I always feel weird about asking for help and try to do everything on my own, but with the help from the momcozy communities I’m learning that asking for help and taking breaks is definitely needed and well deserved. My husband does what he can but he also works a lot. My oldest is now going to daycare for 2 days a week and it’s been a game changer. It definitely helps get things done and have a bit of me time to recharge.

I completely agree with asking for help and I think this is also something that we have to constantly mention because it can be hard for some people, especially myself, but my life has gotten so much easier when I do reach out for help

I have a hard time asking for help as well and I am slowly learning I’m just one person and can’t do it all on my own and I shouldn’t have to and it is ok to ask for help it doesn’t make a a failure or a bad mom.

Yes! It’s so hard but it’s worth it to work on it! No one can do everything! We put so much on ourselves that we can easily burn out so fast

Yes it does! It took me so long to discover that tho. I wish it’s more well known. Especially for new mamas!
