Sorry, no real tips and tricks. I always just ask whoever is in the room to grab things for me! I’ll either call the nurse or wake up my husband. Or, if it’s small, I’ll use my toes like a monkey to pick it up if I can reach it lol. Don’t force anything, though! For using the bathroom, take it really, really, really slow going down and coming back up. After 2 C-sections, bending down to pick stuff up is definitely a no for me, but that phase only lasts a few days. You’re an active person, so you’re going to get the hang of it super fast. Don’t hesitate to ask for help! Hugs Naeee

I hope you don’t have to cough or sneeze, either, that’s the absolute worst! I couldn’t even laugh without feeling like my stitches were going to open up, even a year later lol. I didn’t end up needing a stool softener, but if you feel like you need one, definitely take it! It really helps ease things up and makes going so much easier.

Yeah they gave me a stool softener yesterday, TMI but haven’t went #2 since I’ve been here. BUT I’ve been passing a lot of gas these past two days and burping.

ohhh it’s not simple. But you’re strong! But either they will force you to do #2 or don’t leave the hospital not making any #2. Ask questionsssss either here or to the hospital (nurses and doctors) while you’re still there.
