one tip I would give moms is to always be vocal about your feelings when it comes to nursing! I had several people that gave their unwanted opinion about me exclusively breast feeding, especially after my son lost weight that first week. I kept latching and my son has been fed straight from the source for 5 months now. Do not let others opinions influence what you do. My son now has an amazing latch, is chunky, and we love the bonding!

I couldn’t agree more with this! I had family tell me they were going to give my baby formula if they ever had to baby sit. My baby has been with me every day for 7 months because of that comment

Good for you for sticking up for you and baby! If they can’t respect your wishes they don’t need access to alone time with baby!
Yes never not speak up!!! It’s the greatest way to help you and your baby get to the goal you are trying to reach
