Breastfeeding is a full time job

I wish I knew that breastfeeding was a full time job. As a first time mom going into it I had no idea how much time it would take and how much of a struggle it could be I thought that it would be easier than it was and I learned very quickly that it wasn’t. It is something that you have to plan your day around and a full time commitment but I wouldn’t trade it for anything I am so thankful I am able to do this for my kids.

This is my way to tell my husband I’m working too lolll I always joke about it. Because all this time thinking it’s a responsibility it’s a lot to handle but when we have something to joke about like this. Makes it a little light on our sides.

this is very true. I often get tired of planning my schedule around pumping, but it’s for my baby so it’s worth it.:heart:

It is a full time job. I didn’t realize how much baby would be on breast in the beginning. And the midnight feeds. It’s more than a full time job it’s a 24:7 job
