Imagine you’re a first-time mom, and you just had a 4-pound preemie. You think, “This can’t be too hard.” But it was. Every time I tried to breastfeed, my baby would scream and refuse to latch. So, I started pumping. I ended up exclusively pumping for two months because she simply wouldn’tlatch and cried every time I offered the breast.
Then, after two months, something finally clicked, she latched. Breastfeeding wasn’t easy. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Girl yes. My husband came in and I was whispering because I was scared she would unlatch. But I was so happy. I remember that day like it was yesterday. It happened in 2024
