One support tip I would add for moms who pump is dont let the fear of pumping in public keep you stuck at home. I know it can feel awkward at first, especially when you’re already carrying a million things and then add a pump, bottles, cooler and milk bags to the mix ![]()
I’m still figuring out my own routine when I’m out with three babies, but I’ve learned that being prepared makes me feel sooo much more confident. I bring what I need, make sure I have a way to keep my milk cool and remind myself that I’m not doing anything weird. I’m literally just feeding my babies.
I think sometimes we imagine everyone around us is staring, when really most people are just doing their own thing. And if somebody does notice? Oh well
Mama has places to be and babies to feed!
I spent way too much time worrying about what other people might think of breastfeeding and pumping. Now I’m trying to remember that my babies needing to eat is not something I should ever feel embarrassed about. Pump in the car, pump in a bathroom if that’s what works for you, pump wherever you’re comfortable. Do YOU mama. ![]()
