Not afraid anymore

My advice for the breastfeeding mother out there… don’t be afraid to feed your baby. Feeding is perfectly normal and it’s okay to do it in public. To help change your mindset and probably embarrassment around having a baby attached to your boob is to realize the more you are looking at people the more people are going to look at you. Walk with confidence and ignore the buzz around you. Tunnel vision is your friend see where you are going what you are doing and it will help you feel confident about breastfeeding in public.

Welcome to the community Madi!

I love this, breastfeeding should be talked about more

Yup this !!! I couldn’t agree more!! Feed wherever and wherever you need baby needs to be fed and it’s all natural and apart of our human experience

Welcome to the community mama! Love this perspective! Confidence is key, and normalizing feeding in public helps so many other moms feel safe to do the same :growing_heart::growing_heart::growing_heart:

Welcome to the community!!! This is such a great reminder!

What a different experience whenever you’re no longer afraid I couldn’t agree more

Welcome to this beautiful community. I wish I had it in me to be like this I’ve tried so much and it just affects my supply:sob::sob:. I hope one day I’m able to just zoom everything g out and have a successful pump.

What a great advice. And also welcome to the community

Heyyy welcome to the group! I’m all about nursing in public!

I felt pretty self conscience prior to childbirth, but lost a lot of it through that experience. I walked through Disneyland while nursing and didn’t pay any mind to anybody else! Honestly kind of freeing!

Yessss girl!! I love this because the more you do it, the more normal it starts to feel. I remember feeling like EVERYONE was looking at me when I first started breastfeeding in public, meanwhile most people probably didnt even care :joy: Once you stop worrying about who’s watching and just focus on your baby, it gets sooo much easier. Feed that baby and keep it movinggg mama!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
