During the first few weeks I lacked on my nutrition & I didn’t think about it too much bc I was so sleep deprived & pumping around the clock my time would just blend together.
I was struggling with increasing my milk supply but I didn’t realize my lack of food played so much into my milk supply. I was staying well hydrated, taking postnatal vitamins & once I added more calories to my diet thanks to my husband (he started monitoring my meals lol) & took care of myself(hydration,food,sleep when baby sleeps,power pumps etc.)
The outcome -I jumped almost 20oz with my pumping method & gained energy throughout the day, listen to your body and don’t forget about you. You give your baby nutrients so make sure you are at your best, you got this mommas ![]()
