Hello.
Has someone considered fixing the design with the Momcozy air 1 ultra slim top where you dump milk out of leaking while pumping. I will start pumping and then go to pick my son up or change his diaper (and I’ve just started pumping so it’s not like it’s overflowing) and my milk will pour right out of the top
even with a rubber stopper down. Right out of the top. Who designed this??? And obviously didn’t test it. Like a mom isn’t going to be doing something while they pump. Literally just have to sit on the couch until it’s done.

Oh no I hate that is happening I was looking into the air thanks for the review. Maybe reach out to the Momcozy support team and see if they can help with this
Reddit has a review with more moms having the same issue with the same pump. I’m sure they’ve been contacted already, no one just cares to put a better stopper on the top. Literally makes me so mad that a $400 pump would waste so much milk like that when it would be a simple fix. It’s a pretty good pump, I like how it can connect to my phone but it is just SO finicky. It has to be put together just right or else you’ll be taking it apart and putting it back together again to get suction. Now the right side keeps reading as full because for whatever reason, I don’t know maybe my body heat is making my milk too warm, but the inside is a little steamy (like a mirror when you take a shower). Keeps reading as full and constantly vibrating until I get irritated enough that I turn the notification off. I can’t figure out how to get it to stop and it’s only the right side. I haven’t even had the pump for longer than a month. Parts were ALL dry as I had them sitting out on my counter air drying all night before I used it. Would I get this pump again… probably not. I do a step down. Other moms seem to like that one, the “9” I think it was.

I have the s9 pro and have had it since 2022 and it is starting to go out and I’m thinking about getting another one because it was so good! I hate that you are having trouble with yours that is so frustrating. The pump I got from insurance isn’t great either the little stoppers won’t stay down while I am pumping and I have to re position it so many times just to get it to work and it is driving me crazy.
That is a real challenge! I just keep my core upright and do a squat to pick up my baby or anything else. I’m really building up my leg muscles!

I just try not to bend over as much but I’ve been able to hike with mine and not spill. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they were making an upgraded version as we speak ! I’m sure they understand and hear our feedback they are really great about that
Hi Mama,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us — we’re really sorry for the frustration you’re experiencing.
About the silicone plug at the top, the milk collector does have a small air vent to help release pressure, so it isn’t meant to be completely airtight. It shouldn’t leak during normal use, but if the collector gets quite full, leaning forward or bending over may cause a little milk to come out.
For the overflow alert, if the pump is sitting flat and the collector isn’t full but you’re still seeing the warning, please reach out to Momcozy Support. Our team will be happy to take a closer look, and if it turns out to be a product issue within the warranty period, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
You can also check the Air 1 setup to ensure all parts are installed and sealed correctly — sometimes even a small fit issue can affect how the pump works.
Thank you again for letting us know. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we’re here to help.
