For breastfeeding moms, I was cleaning out my closet and stumbled upon my old Momcozy nipple shields. My first baby was born prematurely and weighed only 4 pounds. To my surprise, I also had flat nipples. Breastfeeding was incredibly challenging, but I was determined to give it a try. However, I was completely clueless about breastfeeding nipple sizes, flange sizes, and the fact that people have different types of nipples. Honestly, my lactation consultant didn’t provide much help. I watched a video about breastfeeding and noticed that my nipples weren’t like that (pointed out). It turned out that I had flat nipples.
Anyway, someone online suggested trying nipple shields. I had no idea what they were. I didn’t even realize I had bought Momcozy ones. But these were the real deal. She was able to eat for the first time with these on. Using them also helped my nipples protrude more, and within a week of using them, she could breastfeed without them. I didn’t know much about breastfeeding as a first time mom either and the lactation consultant wasn’t much help either I’m glad that we have a community like this for the first time moms and moms to multiple so that we can help each other out and learn more about breastfeeding/pumping tips and tricks

But these are so great my best friend used these cause she also had a challenge getting baby to latch after being in the NICU and they worked wonders for her
I’m so glad you found these and that they helped you. It sucks that no one helped you with breastfeeding. I really do think there needs to be more support for new moms especially with breastfeeding. There is so much to learn and get help with. I’m still learning new things from this community. I’ve never had these, but was curious about them.
Yes literally. I really wish there was more support for moms especially first time moms. Every breastfeeding journey is so different. But the only reason I felt prepared for my second breastfeeding journey is because I struggled so much with my first
