A feeding/pumping lesson I just learned is that I have a āflat nippleā and was told I will need to get nipple shields. I was soooo excited about breastfeeding but now Iām just like ugh extra work. I know I will still be able to feed my baby but I just feel every time I leave the doctor itās always something lol. Iām just reminding myself with this post that I need to order some, any recommendations on good nipple shields. I have no clue about them. whatiwishiknew

I had a similar issue and had to get the Momcozy nipple shield. 
I still struggled and ended up only pumping and feeding.

Girl itās crazy. See I donāt even know what elastic nipples are, I need to look that one up.
I didnāt know Momcozy had nipple shields, I need to find it and order. Aww man I was hoping I can at least breastfeed for the first six weeks if not anything. Dangggg.

I have the same thing with my left nipple and my baby struggled in the beginning to latch but after some tries she definitely LATCHED! Of course she would get desperate and cry but since theyāre so hungry babies will open their mouth more and suck with more intensity which will make them latch (In some cases of course). But keep trying be consistent and baby will learn to latch on that nipple without shields or rubber. :)!

I havenāt used one but I know Momcozy has them.

I checked but only see the silver ones, I donāt think those are the correct ones for breastfeeding. *Update* Momcozy donāt have them on their website but I found them on Amazon.

I got the nipple shields from Amazon and what I like about the Momcozy one is that it comes with a case.

She didnāt latch until about two months. She was a preemie so she was born small. But like around 1 month she would open her mouth to latch and it just wasnāt working. So I did a lot of research to figure like how to make her latch and I saw that I had flat nipples. People online would say pump a few min before latching to make nipples protrude. So thatās when I knew

Ohhhh ok and yes Iāve seen this when I was researching to pump as a option to get the nipple out before feeding.
