Pain pain go away

I wish that my c-section area did not hurt. I solo parented this evening, which included carrying both my 4 month old and toddler together multiple times. Now my c-section area is achy. I just wish it wouldn’t hurt.

Postpartum pains are so real especially after a c-section !! I wish I could wave a wand to take it away from you. Is there anything you can do to ease it?

Ice it. When it feel really bad, I take ibuprofen. I usually wear my Momcozy band, which helps decrease/limit the discomfort.

Thank you for sharing! I will look into pelvic floor therapy as I think it’ll help.

Glad it could help you!

I’m 15 months postpartum, and I still get bad aches and pains around my C-section scar after holding my daughter for extended periods or after exercising. I have no idea why it’s still hurting. I feel like this pain shouldn’t be happening this long.

Agreed. It might be worth looking into with your doctor. I know it takes awhile to heal and pain comes on/off, but I feel like it shouldn’t be so evident.

C-section soreness can come back so fast when you’re lifting and carrying nonstop. Solo parenting with a baby and a toddler is a lot. I hope you get a chance to rest tonight :heart_hands:
