Random question, I don’t have a lot of women in my life that I can really ask this question to, and the ones I can didn’t have the pumps that are now currently available.
How do I go about pumping while I’m at work?
I assume its just a trip to bathroom to place pumps (i purchased the M5 and was going to just place them and then remove them when done, etc)
But how would i be able to empty and store properly without getting milk mixed up, etc with timing/storage, etc. Also how often would one be pumping when they go back to work?
Just want to try and mentally prepare

I do know that by law, they have to provide a space where you can pump privately. You don’t need to pump in a bathroom. I think they have to provide a place to store your milk too. Im pretty sure they have to allow you to do it as often as it is recommended for you to do so…I don’t know if you need a doctors note or not though. If I remember correctly, with a newborn baby, you would need to pump every 2 hours
At my work, I used a small cooler bag with ice packs and labeled the bottles with the time. I usually pumped around every 3 hours, kind of matching baby’s feeding schedule. Also, definitely ask about a lactation room if you can—pumping in the bathroom isn’t ideal.
