pumping in public with the Air1

A summer time pick has to be the Air1, as someone who just broke the threshold of her comfortably of pumping in public it wouldn’t be without having to give this slim fitting pump most of the credit. I think having such an easy pump that just pops right in and then you can sneak it back in it’s charging case really helped me use it more out and about and helped me desensitize to people’s wandering eye and judgement! Plus it’s kinda cute honestly [IMG_3430]

My first pick goes to this post because I feel so confident whenever I pump in public and to see another mama feel that confidence it warms my heart.

[IMG_7862] As I was brushing my teeth getting ready for bed, my husband bursts in the room and says “grab the baby and get in the tub”! My second pick goes to this post because it really got me thinking about how we are all living in different worlds, but still connected as a Community. I was also impressed that she thought of a way to use this sound machine and a stressful time.

Quality Over Quantity

My husband, his mom who lives 7 hours drive away from us, and his sister who lives just 30 minutes away, this is my small but precious village, and I am so grateful for them as we raise our children. My kids are deeply loved and cherished by these individuals, and words truly can’t express how thankful I am. I know my children will always remember exactly who made the effort to pour love into their world, and I pray that one day they will pass it forward, becoming part of the village for someone…

For my third pick goes to this post because I too also have a very small village and one really resonated with me. I am so thankful for the mamas that I’ve met here. It started with relating to one than two and three now I have a whole circle.

Momcozy bras

I know a lot of yall have asked about the best nursing/ pumping bras and I am here to tell you I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all of the Momcozy bras that I have bought so far and I can’t recommend them enough! They are so comfortable and supportive, the pads are sown in on the sports bras so you don’t have to worry about them moving or coming out and the pads are removable for the jelly strap bra. family fishing

Yesterday evening we slowed down to enjoy fishing as a family in our pond our kids had so much fun and we did too. It was so fun hearing their squeals and excitement when they caught a fish! It was so awesome making those memories with them and I’m so thankful that we were able to do that. I related to this post in so many ways being that it reminded me of going fishing with my family when I was younger. It brought back so many great memories that made me smile. Also motivated me more in that time to go ahead and go through with my purchase on the bottle washer. Seeing how handy and beneficial it is going to be for me.

Community Mom Pick: Second Pick 2/3

Family Support

[IMG_2996] My grandparents have been in town from out of state. It has been such a blessing to have them here! My daughter absolutely adores them! This has given me the chance to leave the room to take care of things around the house without worrying about watching my daughter. I was able to get things done so quickly. It was so nice to have a little break! Not to mention they spoiled her! They got her some new outfits and toys. I love my grandparents so much!! I really wish they lived closer!…

This is another post I deeply related too as Family Support is so important. From all family but that unconditionally love from our grandparents hit a little more. Having my grandma so close 5-7m away and now she’s moving even closer on the same street as me a few buildings down is such a blessing. She already spoils me so I know my son will be just as spoiled and loved as I am and that she will be a lot of help. And the best part of it all, her and my grandpa can literally walk right down the street if I ever need help or vice versa. I’ve always been very big on family and I thank God everyday for every single person in my family.

You are so sweet! I’m go glad that I could help you momma the struggle is real and I know how hard it is and I see you! You are doing a great job!! One of the hardest things for me with gestational Diabetes was people not understanding that I couldn’t eat what they did and anytime we went somewhere it was a struggle to find something that I could eat and not make my numbers spike or someone knowing I couldn’t eat sweets and eating them in front of me.
