I wish I could have more support at home with chores. My husband and I both work 40+ hours a week and I’m 4mo. Postpartum. Our closest family is over an hour away. I love my new beanie baby but phew! New motherhood is rough when you dont have a village! I just want more time with my little to watch her grow and not have to do chores for a while.

You got this mama! Your little one is beyond blessed to have such a hardworking mama. But I understand what you mean when you want more time. They really do grow up so fast!

Congratulations on your precious baby! 
I know it’s a lot to take on at first caring for your baby and doing all the chores. Eventually you figure out a better balance. I have always been a neat freak and perfectionist, so it has been really hard. I have learned to slow down and make certain cleaning duties wait until the next day. There’s always going to be something that needs cleaning, so don’t feel like you have to do it all at once. Once a week I have a no chore day and will only do what absolutely needs to be done. I don’t have much a a village either, and family doesn’t visit often since they’re over an hour away. I can totally relate! Hang in there mama! You’ll have a new normal soon and it won’t be so hard! Well it might be hard sometimes, but a different kind of hard lol
