I wish I knew I didn’t have to buy everything brand new. Babies grow so fast. And I feel like I spent so much money on unnecessary things or to just use for a few months. But lately I’ve been to thrift stores. I also love giving away my baby used items to other mommies
Yes! This is so true. Thrifting and accepting hand-me-downs saves so much stress and money. Love that you’re passing the love along to other moms too! ![]()
They really do! I got to check a trift store once and honestly the prices were almost the same as buying new. What I usually do instead is shop the clearance sections or wait until stores have really good sales. That way I don’t spend a lot on clothes they’ll only wear once or twice.
This!!! With my second to my 5th I did a lot of thrifting, yard sailing, and Facebook marketplace. Other than the stuff that I saved from previous pregnancies
This is so true! When my babies were born they ended up both needing preemie clothes which I didn’t have too many of. I went to the local baby store where people trade in baby clothes and I bought a lot of onesies there for them. It was a good purchase since they weren’t in them for long, but in the moment I needed them right away and it wasn’t too much money.
That’s so awesome! I love thrift stores! Check out the baby resale shops too. They usually let you bring things in for store credit that you can spend on things in their store. That’s how I get most of my daughter’s clothes and toys and baby gear. I’ve gotten some pretty amazing deals! Like I have an awesome stroller I got for $65 that’s $450 on Amazon right now. You just never know what you’ll find!
I love thrift shopping, Once Upon a Child and Just between Friends sales!
Yes thrifting is amazing. Babies use things for so long that you can find brand new items for so cheap. Marketplace is great for it too
