Hey moms! I only have two pieces of advice I can give to new moms. Advice number one is when your newborn wakes up to feed every 2-3 hours, change their diaper before every feeding. The reason for this is because they’re already falling asleep once they’re done with their bottle/boob and you’re waking them up to change their diapers which will take a while for them to go back to sleep. Advice number two for bottle fed babies is to have a nipple that has a faster flow in the nights so it is much quicker for them to drink the bottle for you to go back to sleep quickly. However in the case if they’re constantly choking on it, switch out the nipples. My baby as a newborn was able to drink the fast flow nipples but I know every baby is different.
Hey moms I just wanted to share a few little tips that have been helping me so much lately as a new mom.
First, one thing that made nights easier for me is always being prepared. I keep everything close—diapers, wipes, and my Momcozy thermometer. It’s honestly a lifesaver when I want to quickly check my baby without waking them up too much.
Second, if you’re breastfeeding or pumping, having something portable is everything. I’ve been using the Momcozy Air 1 pump and it makes such a difference, especially during the night or when I’m on the go. It’s quick, easy, and super convenient.
Also, one tip I learned: try to change your baby before feeding at night. They’re usually sleepy after feeding, and this way you don’t have to fully wake them up again.
Every baby is different, but these little things have really helped make my routine smoother
This is all great advice! I have a little cart that has everything I need for night time on it to make it easier and so I don’t have to look for anything I know right where it is and definitely agree to change the baby before you feed because they always fall asleep after a feed!
