The first few weeks can feel a little overwhelming, but it really does get easier. Try to stay patient with yourself, keep baby close, and rest whenever you can. And if something feels hard, it’s okay to ask for help—you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I remember feeling the exact same way in the beginning—it can feel like so much all at once.

What helped me was just slowing down and taking it one feed at a time. Don’t worry too much about doing everything “right”—focus on a comfortable latch, stay hydrated, and rest when you can.

And if it ever feels painful or overwhelming, please reach out for help—you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. It really does get easier.

The fourth trimester isn’t talked about enough. Just trust in yourself and your intuition. And remember the newborn phase gradually gets better. I promise.
