Wish things were different

Thank you for that, I’ll be 32w in a few days so I will be on the lookout for that for sure. I also have to go back to the pharmacist next week to see how the insulin is going. I start it tonight.

I try to be as comfortable, baby boy just loves eating, kicking and balling up on one side all day lol. I’ll be so relieved at least a lil once my new bed comes in. I haven’t got really really good rest since I moved.

That’s understandable when you’re so close! I remember the anxiety I had when I was only a few months away from having my daughter. It’s a lot of anticipation and not knowing how things are going to happen when the time comes. I remember doing so much research on every possible thing that could happen while giving birth. And I just knew I would never have to have a c-section! I should have expected the unexpected. All you can do is your best and pray to The Lord for guidance and comfort when the time comes. Everything will be alright! :folded_hands:t2:

Yes I appreciate that. All I can do is that, pray and be patient knowing that everything will be good whether it goes how I planned or a different way. As long as he’s healthy and I’m also healthy. And stay on top of what I need to in the current moments. :white_heart:

Good luck. I found the finer pricks worse then the insulin. But everyone is different.

She prescribed me a smaller needle than the normal needle I guess which is still tiny. I was def overthinking everything. Did my first one about 40m ago and it wasn’t bad at all, I barely felt anything, so much I almost thought I did it wrong. But I got it done. :clap:t5:

Yes and it’s an adjuster bed so the head and feet goes up and down. Omg I’m not going to get out of bed for a few days! I can’t wait!

I appreciate that. :white_heart:

That’s awesome. I’m glad it went good. It gets easier with time. Just focus on the end goal and it will be here before you know it. Make sure your partner knows you get to eat whatever you want afterwards

Hi don’t worry too much. I had GD during my pregnancy. One thing that helped me was to move frequently. I walked a lot, will take the stairs whenever possible.

Thank you. I have been walking a lot lately, and I have a lil yorkie so I walk him at least 3x a day, I try to do it after I eat.

Yes but like you were saying, I’m sure I’m going to have to go up a lil from 8units to either 10 or 12 which she did warn me I may have to do if it was still high. &Exactly, I’m going to eat everything lol

Don’t be discourage on how much insulin you need. I think I was around 30-40 at the end. Once you have your baby you most likely won’t need it again. It’s crazy how once the placenta is no longer there your sugar levels go completely back to normal.

Wow 30-40, here comes the overthinking again lol. Thank you so much for the warning just in case so I can be prepared. Those pens go up that high or they prescribe new ones with higher doses?

It depends on what one they gave you I had a night time one. Don’t over think it. Take it one step at a time

Oh ok I’m not sure I just have a pen with needles I put on but for now I only have to do it one time a day, 10m before dinner. And I can use the pen multiple times, different needles each time until it’s out. I have 5 total pens so whenever one runs out.
