Hydration and snacks

Have a water bottle on hand 24/7. Drink electrolytes. Have snacks near by at night you never know how hungry you are going to be when you are nursing at night. Even during the day where ever you breastfeed have hands on snacks for easy grabbing.

My favorite is oatmeal energy bites

1 cup (80 grams) rolled oats

1/2 cup (52 grams) flaxseed meal (aka ground flaxseeds)

1/2 cup (128 grams) crunchy peanut butter

1/3 cup (113 grams) honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup (85 grams mini chocolate chips

This one hundred percent!! Snacks and water next to you at all times! I’m 18 months in at this point, but I still get super thirsty and hungry! At night I keep a bottle of water and a can of cashews in the bathroom just in case!

I don’t go anywhere without my water. Now it’s my water, both kids waters and snacks. You never know when you and the kids will get hungry and no one wants a hangry mama or kids.

Your welcome. My whole family will demolish them. They will only last a few days in my house. My niece will try and steal the container

I have tried making oatmeal bars but the oatmeal ends up being too hard for me. How do you cook these or are they cook?

I love the chocolate chips in them :woman_cook:

Thanks :folded_hands:

You just mix them together like a granola bar and leave them in the fridge for a few hours so the oats soak up the liquid. Then roll them in balls or bars
