To be 100% transparent, I’m making this post as part of the giveaway incentive, and I recently participated in the Babylist collaboration that Momcozy is also a part of. I honestly have no idea if this will go anywhere or if these giveaways actually reach real people, but I figured I’d take the chance and be honest about where we’re at right now.
In January, I moved 10.5 hours away from home with my now husband, with everything we had, and we started over in a one-bedroom apartment. Shortly after moving, we found out we were pregnant.
About 2 1/2 years ago, I was told that having children might not even be possible for me, so finding out I was pregnant was something I never took for granted. This baby means more to me than I could ever really explain. I’ve also struggled with depression in the past, so emotionally, this pregnancy has been a lot, especially with everything that has happened physically.
I recently had to quit my job because my fainting spells, pain, and just overall physical exhaustion became too much for me to safely keep working. On top of that, we were recently told there may be restricted blood flow to the baby, and there’s a possibility I could need to be induced about a month earlier than my due date. We’re taking everything one appointment at a time, but honestly, it’s been really scary and stressful.
Financially, we were already trying to get back on our feet after moving and starting over, and now losing my income while potentially having our baby earlier than expected has put a lot of stress on us. We’re just trying to make sure we have everything our baby needs.
Having our registry completed would genuinely mean so much to us. It would take away a huge amount of stress knowing that the essentials are ready for our baby, especially with everything being so uncertain right now.
I know this is a long shot, and I’m not expecting anything. I just figured if there’s even a small chance this could reach someone who could help, it’s worth putting myself out there. Even sharing this would mean more to us than you know. ![]()
