My breastfeeding journey has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Although I originally planned to nurse exclusively, my baby had other plans, and I had to pivot to exclusive pumping instead.
If there is one thing I have learned, it is that no matter how much you plan, the baby ultimately calls the shots. It is much better to focus on the baby’s immediate needs rather than overplanning.

I agree. My son can choose one day he only wants bottles the next he only wants the breast. I just go with the flow

So true! The babies definitely run the show, no matter what we had planned. That’s why I always say to try to expect the unexpected things because of the kids. They’re unpredictable. Pivoting to exclusive pumping is no easy feat either, you’re doing an amazing job feeding your little one!
